I build the machine, not just the message.
Most marketing shops hand the software problem to someone else. I have built it since the beginning: at Enter360, a platform that ran a client's entire online business and an advisory seat on hard retail technology, and now AI products of my own, in market with paying customers.
Ahead of schedule
Shipping the future early- Virtual reality productionImmersive 360-degree clinic tours and VR work before consumer VR existed, out of a twenty-person Winnipeg studio.
- A custom ecommerce platformClean, crawlable URLs and browser-based order management years before off-the-shelf storefronts offered either. It grew a client from $67K to $3M a month.
- Retail intelligenceAdvisory work on automated checkout, RFID, and in-store systems a decade before frictionless retail had a name.
- AI-native productsLive, monetized software of my own in market now, built by directing a team of AI agents and shipped from anywhere.
Doubleback
Two angles, two clean files, two minutes back in time. Doubleback records the rear and front cameras at the same time, keeps both original files untouched, and adds up to two minutes from before you pressed record. It was the first dual-camera app ready for the iPhone 18 and the iPhone Duo, built and approved before the Duo reached a store.
I built it end to end, directing a team of AI agents: product strategy, design, and software. More at doublebackcam.com.

PREYR
Four apps, one hunt. A pro hunting camera, a stand log, and a predator calling system in one app, with a hunting assistant that debriefs the day and drafts the landowner update. Pro video up to 4K at 120 frames, a two-minute pre-roll so the shot is never missed, both cameras at once, and everything working with no signal. Live on the App Store and Google Play in English and ten more languages, with paying hunters on subscriptions.
I built it end to end: brand, creative direction, marketing, and software. Read the PREYR case study.

CallTuneAI
A working, monetized micro-SaaS: a web studio that lets predator callers build and process full stands of audio for any caller. I conceived, branded, and shipped it, directing specialist developers and AI agents through GitHub-centered workflows, with payments, accounts, cloud processing, and a mobile companion. Demand validated through paying customers, a lifetime-deal launch, a hardware bundle, an affiliate program, and appearances on predator-hunting podcasts.

Umbilical Software
A pre-Shopify ecommerce platform that turned one client's legacy-system bottleneck into a scalable commercial product. Built to replace a hosted storefront that buckled under load, it re-hosted the client on their own servers, won real search visibility with custom URL rewriting, moved order management to the web, and productized recurring retail problems into paid modules: pricing, social proof, used inventory, community, and cross-sell.
Through Enter360, I financed and led the eighteen-month build, then commercialized it in two editions: one that plugged into the back office of Mail Order Manager as a SiteLINK alternative, and a standalone enterprise system for retailers who did not run Mail Order Manager at all. The platform was later sold. Read the SWFA case study.
The modules
Each one started as a real retail problem- Price-match intelligenceA 110 percent low-price guarantee. Customers submitted lower prices with a link, and the system verified them. The owner stopped policing competitor sites by hand, and the customers became a self-running price-intelligence network.
- Photo contestCustomers uploaded field photos tagged to the exact product, with a story, and voted. It cured a chronic shortage of real imagery for the site and the catalogs, and manufacturers funded the prizes and bought the ad space around it.
- Customer testimonialsContext-aware social proof: shoppers saw testimonials for the category, brand, or model they were looking at, with no manual merchandising. Years before Google Reviews.
- Photo server and galleryThe hosting and gallery engine under the contest and the testimonials, so a large and growing library never dragged the site down.
- Used and trade-in inventoryA second storefront built around an appraisal engine that tracked every offer, every sale, and days to sell. One expert's intuition became a database any staffer could use.
- Community forumAn owned forum for gear and optics talk. Repeat traffic, organic search content, and a captive audience to cross-sell.
- Cross-sellRelated products, accessories, and variants in the cart at the moment of purchase. Higher order value with no added ad spend.
Retail intelligence
As a business partner and advisory board member to a technology lab, I helped turn operating problems into products: compression algorithms, wireless charging, RFID, mobile systems, automated checkout, building maintenance and weather-infiltration sensing, and satellite technology. My role was not to write the code. It was to hear the problem, find the idea, and work with the engineers to make it real and commercial.
It is the same method I use on every build: diagnose first, then decide what deserves to exist. Read the retail intelligence case study.
Hear the problem.
Find the idea.
Make it real.
Built, not just designed.
Building from the brand to the code keeps me ahead of the tools.
